Enterprise Graduan Muda (EGM) is a collaborative program between Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and the Malaysian Academy of SME & Entrepreneurship Development (MASMED), University Teknologi MARA Shah Alam, Selangor. This short-term program is aimed at producing entrepreneurs among graduates who are serious in starting a self-owned business or continuing and expanding a family business.
Course Aims/Objectives:
- Improve the competence level of graduate-entrepreneurs in preparation of becoming Small Medium Enterprise (SME) pioneers.
- Develop graduates’ technical skills in preparation of starting their own business
- Provide a platform for graduates for business networking
Target Participants
- Final semester UiTM students (September 2012 - January 2013) (From various fields of study at degree level. Diploma graduates may be considered)
- Have a strong passion to become an entrepreneur.
Program Duration
- 6 Months (The 1st module is conducted during the final semester of their study followed by a 5 months full time program execution upon completion of the final examination)

- Entrepreneurial Competence - 2 weeks
- Business Management - 5 weeks

Program Benefits
- Certificate entitles the participant to apply for Graduate Entrepreneurs Fund financing
- Course fees will be borne by the organizers
- Subsistence allowance is provided during the 5 months period
